My name is Mary Geary.

I grew up on a farm in Maine. I've lived in a few places throughout the country. New England is my favorite place to live because my family is here, and I love the changing seasons. You can't beat a New England October! I've fallen in love with Newmarket for a few years and have enjoyed most of my free time here. It is very special to my heart. I recently made it my home, living with my husband, stepdaughter, and our two pets. We have a grumpy old cat and a grumpy old gecko. In my spare time I love adventuring with my family. We enjoy visiting family, going for walks, being in nature, and exploring new places where we can learn about New England's rich history. Touring historic districts and homes is one of my favorite things to do. I am interested in genealogy and love to talk about family history. I enjoy reading, writing, playing scrabble, and spending time lingering in libraries, book shops, and antique shops. I am also a homebody and love to take care of my family and home. The simple things in an ordinary day are my favorite and bring me the most joy. I am delighted to be part of the NCC team! I look forward to meeting all of you and being of service to the community.
