Holy Thursday Tenebrae Service

Holy Thursday Tenebrae Service 6:30pm that will include a simple meal of soup and bread: A Tenebrae service typically takes place in a dark room lit by a number of candles. A series of Scripture readings chronicles Jesus's final week, ending with his burial. After each reading a candle is snuffed out, until only the Christ candle remains lit.

Prayer Vigil Thursday 8pm - Sunday at 6:30am starts immediately following the service – and we cover the sanctuary in prayer 24 hours per day through to Sunrise on Easter morning with people signing up to take 1 hour shifts of prayer throughout the period.
