Welcome to Newmarket Community Church (NCC)
Sunday Services are held every Sunday at 9AM in July and August and at 10AM September through June. You are invited to come to worship as you are! NCC is a diverse community and we all dress in our own way each Sunday. Some in blue jeans; others in dresses and jackets, and on game day you’ll almost always see a Patriots jersey or two. Our worshiping community includes families with children, college students, young adults, older adults, single people, empty nesters, and just about everyone and sometimes even a little dog or two! If you’ve never been in a church, we understand your anxiety and will do our best to make you feel comfortable. NCC is a place where everyone can feel at home as we blend traditional and modern worship styles to create inspiring services crafted to connect everyone with the community of faith in creative ways. Through bible passages and inspirational messages, communion and prayer, music and song, our hope is that everyone will feel at ease and peaceful as to experience the presence of God. Sunday morning services are intended to fuel us up to go back into the world to share the good news of God’s inclusive love and the compassion of Christ with everyone we meet.
Need to use the restroom?
There are two restrooms in the building. One is located on the sanctuary level of the building which can be accessed by walking up the left side of the sanctuary, exit through the door and take a right in the hall. The rest room is the last door on the left. There is also a rest room on the lower level in the Fellowship Hall to the left of the kitchen which can be accessed by walking up the left side of the sancutary, taking a left in the hall, go down the stairs, and through the door into the Fellowship Hall.
Sunday Parking Options:
Parking is available in the small lot on Water Street, along the church side of Water Street, in our own small driveway along the left side of the church, at the Post Office, (except for the months of November, December, and January), at Kennebunk Savings Bank across the street, in the public lot on Bay Road, and anywhere you may find an open spot on Main Street.
We encourage families to stay in Sunday services and love the sounds of little voices in our midst. If you feel like your baby needs a breather, you can go to the lounge by walking up the left side of the sanctuary, exit through the door, go right in the hallway, and the lounge is the third door on the left, next to the sanctuary level restroom.
