In 2013 I received my Masters of Divinity degree from Bangor Theological Seminary while also completing my clinical pastoral education work at Mercy Hospital in Portland, Maine and Portsmouth Regional Hospital (PRH) in Portsmouth, NH. Possessing a mission-oriented heart as I live out my faith in action, I lead an annual mission trip to Guatemala, as well as an annual in country trip. Most recently in 2017, the in country team served in Alderson West Virginia and in January, 2018 we will serve as a medical and construction team in Guatemala. We are excited about mission here at Newmarket Community Church as we serve in many different ways (which you can read about on this site) to bring the love of Christ out into the world!
Prior to my ministry at Newmarket Community Church, I served as Pastor and Teacher at Eliot UMC in Eliot Maine. Prior to that, I transitioned away from my twenty-one year professional career at WellPoint, Inc. While at WellPoint, I focused much of my career on organizational design and development, project management, leadership and team development, and communication management. God has prepared me in a variety of ways for ministry.
I live in Stratham, NH with my husband of 24 years, Jim, and our three daughters Elizabeth, Allison, and Marylou. In my free time I am usually on the move as I like to do most anything active and outside!
I would love to have you join us for worship at Newmarket Community Church – where everyone is welcome! I look forward to meeting you!
